In 48 hours ago, i had explored about sychronizing ADO.NET entity using MS Sync Framework v1.0 (after updated its version from CTP1 to CTP2, MSF for ADO.net itself currently have v2.0). MSF?? So, it is about my current project to synchronize the data between regional and center office which the two using SQL Server 2005 as backend DBMS. When tried the sample application using that framework, i thinked i would be nice if i could implement this framework to my project, the sample demo about sync data between SQL Server 2005 as a server and SQL CE 3.5 on handheld device(Windows Mobile) as a client. After coded for MyServerSyncProvider ( inherit from DbServerSyncProvider, a provider abstract class which can handle sync query to many DBMS supported by ADO.NET) so next i had to do was instantiated a client sync provider for SQL Server, unfortunately MSF 1.0 CTP 2 didn't support any implementation for SQL Server and other DBMS except SQL CE 3.5 (SqlCeClientSyncProvider class : ClientSyncProvider). Then i tried to made my own implementation for SQL Server from ClientSyncProvider class, searched for documentation, again, there was no documentation about 'how to' yet. Browsed the forum and blog about MSF, "There is no implementation yet for client sync provider other than SQL Ce" stated by Liam Cavanagh (someone behind this framework). He also stated that his team still struggle a bit to make samples to implement SqlServer Client Sync Provider and of course the documentation... Well, I'll wait for the release (had subscribe the alarm to my LiveMessenger )for the news, haha~ ..

Back to my current project, so this morning i have been exploring about SQL Server 2005 Merge replication that match for my project scenario which is Integrating Data from Multiple Sites (client).. For now, SQL Sever 2005 Merge Replication is the winner to live beside my project^^.. Hope this 'girl' will help my project to resolve the problem and ready to delivery, next 2 days.. whooa.. Ganbatte!  UpSSs.. how pity the destiny of MSF, umm,, not at all,, i'll review it later if the nu rilis has published..

Lumayan lama jg gw gk nulis di niy blog.. selain gk terlalu sibuk skripsi, kebanyakan libur jadi bikin gw males nulis di blog.. liburan gk perna dirumah, kuar jalan mulu mpe subuh, liburan natal taon baru lumayan berkesan, soalnya bulan desember kemaren mungkin cukup kelabu bagi gw, full of complicated heart, tp asik jg bisa jalan ma sodara2 ma temen2 yg bisa diandalkan untuk menghibur - sang penghibur, kek album barunya padi.. hehehe,  td siang baru abis  ngumpulin skripsi, doain ya biar sidangnya bisa lulus :D .. cya

Short description about the linux network buffers (skb's)

 

1. Introduction

At the time I wanted to know more about the Linux network stack, I always wanted a document like this to exist. But unfortunately I never found one. After I gained some basic knowledge about the Linux network stack internals, I wrote one.

I'm happy if this document is of any use for other people trying to learn about the Linux kernel.

Please let me know of any bugs in this document. It should resemble kernel revision 2.4.0-test4

Hari ini adalah hari ke-8 (rabu) berada di Manokwari (ibukota provinsi baru - Papua Barat) sejak selasa minggu kemaren dari makassar, ini kali ke 2 saia menginjakkan kaki di kota ini.. Hari ini merupakan hari pelatihan terakhir dari 2 hari pelatihan Sistem Informasi Kepegawaian (SIMPEG) yang diadakan oleh Biro Kepegawaian Provinsi Papua Barat.. Hari kemarin sejak berada di Manokwari cukup melelahkan tapi asik juga bekerja dengan om Ony, om Simon, pak Rudy, Anto, Mus,, Ngapain aja? umm.. banyak mulai dari pasang akses point dengan antena omni yang bisa melayani satu kota manokwari dengan melakukan beberapa site survey di berbagai penjuru kota, walaupun ada yg belum terjangkau karena tower yang kurang tinggi :D .. Backbone internetnya sendiri powered by VSAT - LintasArta yang dipasang bulan 7 kemaren bareng mas Ketut dr LA Jayapura, HotZone s/d 500 mtr dari menara menggunakan laptop, hotspot di pelataran pameran tahunan provinsi sekaligus setahun anniversary provinsi ini, dan built server menggunakan Windows 2003, IIS 6, SQL Server 2005 untuk menjalankan aplikasi SIMPEG untuk simulasi dalam pelatihan dan rencananya nanti emang bakal di up kan sebagai public web server untuk aplikasi pemerintah provinsi.. besok rencana pulang ke Makassar untuk istirahat bentar sebelum balik ke Jakarta melanjutkan aktivitas yang pending selama 2 minggu lamanya :D (Skripsi, tugas, dll sudah menunggu).. Skrng mw ke bawah dulu (function hall Billy Jaya Hotel) untuk foto2 penutupan pelatihan ...
